This is my review of four Japanese LGBTQ+ films as requested by my fans on Patreon. In this video I review the following movies:
1. Close Knit (彼らが本気で編むときは, Karera ga Honki de Amu Toki wa)
2. Taboo (御法度, Gohatto)
3. Kakera: A Piece of Our Life (カケラ, Kakera)
4. To Each His Own (ちょっと今から仕事やめてくる, Chotto Ima Kara Shigoto Yamete Kuru)
I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you get a chance to see these films, as well! If you’ve already watched them, please let me know in the comments your thoughts. I’d love to chat about it.

You can see Japanese hand signals for things like “OK” and “bad” in Japan (among many more). Then, you will see the US version of that gesture. It’s an interesting comparison!

Jason Brock (vlogger, entertainer and political science student) has done some research and shared his thoughts on five major differences between the two countries’ responses to COVID-19 which he presents in this video.
